Summer Camp
WESTON AYSO SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
If summer were to be bottled up into one feeling, that one feeling we all know and have experienced growing up. It would be freedom, freedom to play. When the last school bell rings, you say “bye” to your teachers, wake up to your summer days, see your family more, and play outside in the fresh air of summer, freedom.
As summers come and go, we can’t help but notice that children are giving more and more time to technology rather than engaging with kids their own age and playing outside in the summer air, which will always be important to the development and health of a young person.
AYSO 644 and Weston Select Soccer Club consider this fact to be a great burden to our future generations in that we are leaving behind what really makes us unique and human, that is, working together, constant interaction with peers, working with other children our age, becoming good problem solvers, showing respect and having values is what makes us unique and human. Sharing space, time and learning core values and emotions such as empathy in our younger generations is crucial to our society and world.
However, this can only occur when the structure they socially engage in is a respectful, positive, and love-centered one. The AYSO 644 Weston Select Summer Camp prides itself in providing a structure that allows the kids to become problem solvers and grow as a community.
The AYSO 644 Weston Select Summer Camp will also provide a well-structured and fun learning environment where young soccer players get the chance to improve their soccer skills tremendously over a short period of time. Alongside other soccer-related fun activities, we will create unforgettable experiences and nurture growth through respect and understanding of the importance of oneself in a team, family, organization, and the world.
During the 9 weeks of the summer camp, players will receive consistent high-level coaching under a structured curriculum. The program is tailored to focus on each specific technical topic twice throughout the nine weeks. Along with their technical aspect, players will also build their mental and tactical components, differentiating between the age groups. Additionally, the physical aspect is schooled daily through coordination, speed, and agility training.
Sign up, and let’s grow together!
