Futsal and Agility Program
The Futsal Training Program
Program Description: The Elite Training Program tries to provide its players with the best tools to become “all around” quality players. This includes operating different surfaces of play, different rules, and even different balls. Therefore the program will offer two 2 month Futsal programs (1 in fall and one in spring).
This program is designed for both AYSO Recreational players and AYSO Weston Select players. The program was developed for players within the AYSO structure who are inspired to train and have a goal in mind and want to achieve it.
Futsal is a sport that many regions in the United States are still unaware about as well as its benefits for young players. Futsal is the only “Official form of Indoor Soccer” approved by FIFA. The game is played all around the world with millions of players participating in over 100 countries. Futsal is supposed to be played in an indoor environment such as an indoor court, turf-covered hockey arenas, or skating rinks. Hypothetically the field is to have regular boundaries without any walls being allowed to be used. However, the ideal environment for young players is surrounded by walls. This eliminates boundaries and the game will have no stoppages except goals and fouls resulting in better flowing game which usually also increases in speed.
There are many modern superstars that brought a high futsal influence to the professional game like Ronaldinho, Neymar, or Robinho. This form of soccer is a great skill developer as it is played in extremely tight spaces, requiring a fast reaction speed, accelerated thought processing, and excellent passing quality.
Experiencing the game of soccer with these above named differences and the unique style of soccer the players of the Elite Training Program will improve their technical skills, fast decision making skills, creativity, and involvement in the game. Therefore we highly recommend it to all players participating in the program.
It is an extra training apart from regular practice with their team where players will do Speed and Agility for improvement of their physical component and introduction to Futsal soccer. Players always finish with a scrimmage competition.

Over the last decade the game of soccer has made tremendous developments. On the contrary these developments only took place in a few aspects of the game. The component making the fasted improvements is the physical attribute. Players have increased their physical standards by almost 25-30 percent over the last decade. These changes made the game much faster over the entire 90 minutes.
Players have to be developed physically much early in a correct way. This includes hand, eye, foot coordination, running technique, balance, explosiveness, and agility.
The program designed will help players develop the age appropriate physical attributes at the correct time in a professional environment. We have made the experiences in the past that young players, who are additionally physically trained, experience many improvements that even include their ball handling skills.
The Elite Training program Directors are highly recommending the enrollment in this program.
